The question and the scores on the TV; each guest's answer and place on their phone.

A whole shower of games, not just one

Twelve games and 200 ready-made questions, in a recommended lineup for 15, 30 or 45 minutes or one you build. Five themes, including boy, girl and neutral.

  • Everyone plays

Guests scan the QR code and type their name: no app, no account. Each answers privately, so nobody is put on the spot.

  • About this couple

The parents answer light questions from one link, and three games are about them.

  • A survey game show

Everyone answers at once; the app groups the obvious matches and you match the rest.

  • Who's That Baby?

Guests add their own baby photo from their phone; the room guesses who is who.

  • Scores kept for you

A winner and a top three in each scored game, an optional overall champion and team play.

  • A keepsake book

The room's predictions, wishes, advice and baby photos, made into a PDF for the parents.

No Wi-Fi? Older guest doesn't want a phone? You're covered.

Every game has a fallback.

  • Rehearse first

Play your lineup with pretend guests the evening before, and try the Party Screen on your own TV.

  • Without internet

The party goes on as prepared: you read the questions aloud from one device.

  • Every game prints

Sheets and cards for guests who'd rather not use a phone.

Good to know

  • Every phone playing live needs internet. They don't need to share one network.
  • A TV is optional. You supply its connection: a cable from your laptop, or casting.
  • Without internet, the party goes on as prepared, led from one device, aloud or on paper.
  • Your parties are kept in your browser. Save a backup file now and then: clearing browser data can remove them.
  • Online rooms normally end seven days after the party (thirty days after they're made with no date, never more than sixty). The exact date shows before you share the link.
  • The photo game and the parent games need preparation: links collect the photos and answers, and you can answer for the parents yourself.
  • In the survey game show, you decide on the answers the app didn't match.
  • This is a web app opened from a link, not a PowerPoint or a printable template.
  • Works in Safari on iPhone and iPad (iOS 16.4+), Chrome on Android, Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on computers, and Chrome on Chromebook. Try the free demo on yours.

Questions

Is there a subscription?

No. BabyShow is one purchase on Etsy, reusable for every shower you host. There is no account, no monthly fee and nothing more to buy.

Do I need a TV?

No, but it makes the party: a laptop on a TV or projector becomes the Party Screen. Without one, guests play on their phones while you read aloud.

Can guests far away play?

Yes. They open the same guest link on their phone, next to the video call you already run.
